Wow, that's a sweet looking engine in the top pic There are some differences under the valve covers. The RB has some seriously heavy duty parts under there but the basic engine design is pretty much the same. I'm still dreaming of an RB swap into a '87 or '88 200SX.

yeop, this is pretty much what i have been trying to explain to my honda people. they didnt beleive me til i showed them this.
i wish i had a shot of both heads and combustion chambers and blocks taken apart, side by side....
secondly...some one ought to come up with a front wheel drive connector plate to mate a ca18det tranny to the RB series engines.

So couldn't you bolt up a ca tranny and do a swap like that or no?? because that would be a kick in the nutts to anybody who
wanted to show you up......

yep....hehe.
if it was that easy as "bolt it up" then i tihnk ppl such as boost boy and the like, would have thought of it(alltho it might cost more...)
