that instrument cluster is freakin sweet. If I were smart at all, i'd do one myself... but I know I'd end up taking 3 weeks... and then work would wonder where I was..

More progress! Brought the car home this weekend and though a bit out of tune because of the new HKS camshafts, this car exhibits a wicked ride at 12 psi of boost. And the new hybrid transmission is a complete traction success. HELICAL LSD is the way to go..................
Though still nowhere near completed, here's a shot of the engine bay with the pipes (unpainted)
Here's a better view of the interior, still incomplete! The little box on the driver's seat is my LCD programmer for my standalone system (My girl is going to love this car)
Here's a shot of the gauges and instrument cluster!
I do a little bit at a time as I'm in no more rush. For those of you that want to install a CA18DET into your vehicles, it will be a challenge that you will never forget. If you don't have the right stuff or some general know how, you are in for a long and wicked battle to be accompanied by thoughts of scrapping your projects. This one was a pain in the butt even though I had the recipe to get it done. But the ride is nasty with the bigger turbo (more lag) camshafts and better exhaust manifold. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

So when you going to blow the doors off another wrx ?
Street racing days are over for me ! If I catch one at the track or going towards the track that wants to run, then it's showtime, but other than that, this rocket os my girlfriend's and she will drive this one as intended (Not like before where I hogged the car for R&D).

Well i didnt mean to be low ballers with this but to agree with Boostboy that those kind of heavy "armed" car should do theyre trick on a track So much money invested in those, that you want to keep them away from anykind of accident on an open road ... with the speed this bomb can do, it surely is dangerous to open it on a road with some old people driving buicks at dangerous speed (30mph) !! lol and i dont want to hear Boostboy loose another B12 on the road we want time slips !

My body can't take another smacking like that and nor can my pocket. This has been very costly to me physically, emotionally and financially. This particular car has taken up an unusual amount of my time and I'm still not done with the car. Like I stated earlier, this one will be in the posession of my woman and possibly even on track day. I'll just line up beside her with my sentra and do the thing what makes her love me so much "Wax that ass" .

for sure. I know if I had the resources (hoist, $$$) to make my car over 400hp, probably wouldn't mess around when on the road. I know a guy who recently wrecked his prized car (5L mustang), and that was bad enough... nevermind having spent so much time with performance modifiation. accidents suck.
