I need cam specs.

I am fitting 2 side draught Webers to my E15.

Now I want to know what cam will work best?

Also what else can I do to get the most performance from the Weber upgrade

i got my cam regrinded .401 lift at the intake and .386 at the exhaust (roker ratio is 1.486)... cant help with the duration but it is longer a bit... idle nicely with a touch of rumbling @800rpm but with the turbo it readline around 7000rpm with dual valve spring...

for an NA setup, i was suggested by the guy that did my regrind to get .386 both intake and exhaust... that would be a bit better than the euro cam... should be good to 6500rpm with the the Twins !

Thanks

Can`t wait to hear the Twins roar. Still waiting for an intake manifold. If I cant find one at a reasonable price I`ll see if I can borrow one from Alfa or Fiat.

PS: Crazy your ET rocks. Wish I had the time...

***** You won't beleive how fast it will be with the twins side drafts on it. The difference is like day and night!

Blown, do you agree with the cam specs given above (0.386).

In terms of horsepower , can you gues what I will gain? The setup will be as follows:

E15 stock internals.
Twin 40 Webers
Head gas flowed and ported for maximum flow
50mm exhaust header.
Fly wheel lightened

***** CrazyMart's machinist is right, that a custom ground .386" lift cam is slightly bigger than the Euro cam. I'm guessing that there is some increase in the duration dialed in too. Your twin side draft equipped E15 will like slightly more cam than the Euro cam. I am currently running a reground Isky [California USA] cam in my E16. It was ground to 4.14" of lift and 270 deg. of duration, with 38 deg. of overlap, and is ground on a 116 degree lobe center. You can send your stock cam out to Isky and tell them you want their Z-330 grind profile. Of course, you can have a local cam grinder do the same for you in Africa. You can use this cam without any valvetrain modifications. It just slips right in.
