a few questions about a pulsar

1) how does the e-brake get tightened?

2) what does the sensor light in the dash refer to?

thank you anyone!

Take off the console that surrounds the e-brake and the adjustment screw can be found.

Sensor light is to be disregarded! After 70,000miles it should've been disconnected.

on the inside of the drums they auto adjust for one thing you can pull drums and do whatever you want...the other way also can adjust up front like previously mentioned.

2) what does the sensor light in the dash refer to?
either disconect or have the gas sensor system repaired...my light is on right now gotta fix mine soon...

The skinny on the sensor light is that on models with a reset switch under the passenger side kick panel, the sensor is triggered by a mileage counter in the speedometer. After 90k disconnect it. It's not telling you anything other than a reminder to have your system checked.

On '88 and later models without the reset switch, the sensor light is triggered by the ECU when it detects a problem in the emissions system. Usually a plugged/bad EGR or O2 sensor.

The gas sensor system is the "Exhaust Gas Sensor" aka O2 sensor.
