***** If you are really handy, you can change them at home too. I just disconnect the ball joint, tie the strut assy out of the way, put a jackstand under the lower arm, and wail it out with a BFH. Uh, that's a big f#$%ing hammer.

I have also had to heat up the arm a bit at times. Not too much mind you, but enough to get it loose. You can only buy aftermarket replacement joints. Like Myetball said, you could buy the new lower arm assy's from Nissan. And that worked for me with my 4WD wagon, because my ball joints
and lower arm bushings were shot, and you get both that way. Note: if you need lower arm bushings, buying the new lower arms is the
only way you can get them. Nissan doesn't sell the bushings separately any more.
