Oil sending unit is working but for some reason the circuit is getting power when the car is off. I assume it goes out once the car is running and the oil pressure switch has pressure applied.
Basically, how it works it you turn on the ignition which applies power to othe ignition relay. The relay sends power to fuse 11 which powers your warning lights. The oil sending unit is basically a switch on the negative side of the circuit between the warning light and the fuse. With the engine running pressure is applied to the switch and it is off. If the oil level drops too low to maintain pressure the switch turns on and the light goes on. Since there is no pressure when the car is off the switch is in the on position. However, the warning light should be out since there is no power supplied to the ignition relay through the ignition switch.
So, for some reason power is getting through the ignition switch with the car off. I'd say pull the bulb or unplug the oil sending unit till you can track it down. Make sure you have oil.
