Fuel filter, where are you??

Hi. I own a 1987 Nissan Pulsar. The engine is the CA16DE.

My car came with no owner's manual, and Canadian tire didn't know how to look up my fuel filter. So I would like to know if anyone knows where the fuel filter is located on this car. Any help in this evil mystery will be greatly appreciated.

shouldn't it be on the firewall next to the carbon canister

Yeah, there it is.

Here I was looking around the fuel tank , and the oil reservoir.
