Timing help

I'm finishing up my motor and I was working on the timing stuff...I got the cam and sprocket installed right, I got the timing plate on, the jackshaft and crankshaft seals and crank bearing, but now something isnt right. There are 3 little round plates that go on the end of the crankshaft with the sprocket for controlling the timing belt i guess and they dont all fit...it seems to work okay with one of them....i dunno...does someone know what all is supposed to go on the crank and in what order (everything from the block to the timing cover) thanks....my manual sucks.
