O-ring??

Hey,
The guy I sent my block to told me I should o-ring the head instead of the block. What are your input on this?

I'm not getting it oversized. Just cleaning it up, the block had no wear on the cylinder walls.
I can't get the block o-ringed. The f@#king shop said he thought his brother did a couple of nissan engines before and when he finally talked to him, he said he actually sent the block out to somewhere else. That really pissed me off because the only reason I took the block to his shop is because he said he could do the o-ring.
Oh well, I can still boost but not too hard!!!

Personally, I don't see a difference whether it is done on the head or the block. I'm pretty sure I've seen it done on the head im some of my old Hot Rod magazines.

Yes, it is true, you can o-ring either one. I have only done the block on my E16's though. I guess it's a preference thing.
