I really doubt there are aftermarket injectors, but there is a duel Weber carb conversion kit.

I think its possible for you to convert to a GA16DE or SR20DE intake manifold. This would be more worth yourwhile since it would give you Multiport fuel injection.

I really doubt those parts are compatible because he has a e-series engine. I am positive about the weber kit but it is really hard to find because they don't make them anymore. The single carb kit would turn your engine into the older e16s engine, you DON'T want to have to deal with the "hopeless chokeless" Hitachi carb.
This sounds pesimistic but I don't suggest trying to mod the e-series engines past intake and exhaust or maybe a "euro" cam. It has been done before, but the engine was just not designed for big power, and all the work is not really worth it.

as for the intake, well it wont work because E16 engines are heating the intake with the water from the head that pass in the intakemanifold than go to Carb(TBI) then return to manifold then to head.... anyway...
did somebody allready tried to add injectors to the manifold ??...
could be good with the appropriate electronic senquence !??

The only heating is from a duct the draws warm air from the exhaust manifold. DG Racing makes an intake for the e-series engine that removes this part.

so this is possible with the ga16i motor? how much work would this be
Originally posted by sentrastud Im not sure, I would really love to do it to my GA16i if it is in fact possible. More research is necessary... Ill start lookin into it.

The heads are different so the manifold probably won't line up, but switching the head might make it possible.

I'm not sure if a headswap is possible either. I'm just hypothesising,

wath i mean for the heating is that prestone is flowing inside the intake manifold... when you look at it closely... you can see 2 hose connected from the manifold to the tbi... those a prestone line !!!!.... after 2 head gasket i know ... prestone gets in from the pump side goes up in a canal falowing #1 intake tube then goes out below the carb.. goes in the carb by the hose.. the rest is the inverse to the #4 intake tube.. goes back in the back of the head just beside the thermostat housing...
Look at it closely youll see wath i ment !!
