As I was installing the plug wires on my rebuilt engine I noticed that the cap actually has the cylinder numbers on it in the correct firing order, however, it had the #1 terminal down at about the 4 o'clock position. I could have sworn that the #1 should have been up around the 10 o'clock position. The Chiltons manuals even show it at the 10 o'clock position. The car ran with #1 at the 4 o'clock position. Am I crazy?

Looks like you put the cap on 180 degrees the wrong way
