Slipped timing belt, now bad motor??

Ok... was driving the old B11 around with an E16 in it.. and I was backing off the gas and it gave a sharp tug and then it began to run like crap.. like only firing on 2 cylinders... got it home and I checked everything, and it checked out ok, all the wires were attached, so I took the timing cover off and it was off by one notch at the top.. so I replace the belt, line everything up in order, start it up and it runs better... but it's still acting like its' missing.. its' better than it was but it's still crappy... it will hold an idle now and I can drive it.. but... you get the idea.. I've got a space cylinder head and I'm wondering if I might have bent a valve or something, I heard it's pretty easy to bend a valve if you let that belt slip so.. What do you guys think?? THink my head is F'd? Also, the intake gasket is leaking but it's got no coolant and it's not idleing high and there's no smoke pouring out the tail pipe BECAUSE there's no coolant in it... so what do ya do? I tested the voltage at the spark plug wires and it says that it's only putting out 10,000 volts, but that's with and MSD blaster coil.. think that might be my problem? I'm snowed in here at my g'fs house so I can't work on my car, just wondering if you guys had any ideas.. thanks...

for i tooth i wont think you bent a valve... when i bouth my e16, the guy replaced the timing belt 1 tooth away, it wasnt firing at all... so that would make the tooth the other one from you... if you think the engine is going real crappy then i would get it off and have a leak/compression test done on it..

You don't have any coolent in your engine?!?! That's probably why it is running so bad. It'll probably be pingin like crazy.

That sentance should give you an idea or two. Just Kidding. No, I'm not, or am I?

uhh well, try putting a timing light on the car since you said you could get it to idle. then see where you're at.

had no compression on num1 or num2.. took the head off and I had about the size of a fingernail peice of metal missing from in between cyl 1,2's combustion chamber, luckily, it was only in the head and the block was fine...no wonder I had no compression.. bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahah muahahah MUAHAHAH WBAHAL:SKJ So I wasted like 20 hours diagnosing it, and only 5 hours putting in a cyl. head off of my old wrecked cars block, but it's all hooked up now, the EFI and everything on this lil' critter AND IT HAULS AND IT WILL KEEP HAULIN' MUAHAHAH!! Night everyone.. I have school tomorrw... If you guys want to add an easy 15 HP, you'll do this mod.. trust me... I love it....can't wait to see what kind of gas mileage I'm gonna get..... ^_^
