I read that the hopeless chokeless has oxy sensor and there is also some feedback from a "computer", is that right?

Here a pic of one of my carbs (some vacuum boxes and hoses are missing because of disassembling for cleaning) but is this one of those?

On my B12 with the E16S there is no computer,ECU or something like that and it can't be hidden because i restored the car from 1999-2003 and I saw every little angle of the car. So logically i don't have that hopless carb.

If you did have an ECU, it would be under the passenger's seat.

Im positive yours had the same carb as mine did, I like to call it the Vacuumladen, vapourlocking, rich running hopeless busted choke hitachi carb. I remember at my local boneyard, the hopeless chokeless carbs engine bays obviously have more wiring and the coil pack looked different as well. And the ECU under the seat too. Never checked. They look identical, but are easy to tell apart.

I got the info i needed, made research, my carbs are all NOT hopeless chokeless.
The hopeless one is a DFE2832 and has some more wires to connect.
My are of the type DFC328 which is similar to the DCH340 from the z24 engine.

Is that black heating plate between the carb and the intake manifold necessary?
Has the carb to be in contact with the cooling water?

If theres is a plug that connects into the back of it, it is a air/fuel mixture heater plastic-y type gasket.
It pretty much helps the carb run better as it warms up to optimal temperature.

Thanks PulseMan. I just wanted to be shure, because for few months I^m dealing with the thought to put two of those carbs on my E16S , so I have to rethink the design of the manifold, so the carbs keep working like they should.
