Heater fan quit working

My heater fan didn't work on high for more than a year. The other positions did. I sometimes had to knock on the dash above for it to work and now nothing.

My mechanic checked the blower and it works. Figured it was the switch. When he replaced it he said the connector that plugs into the heater control head behind the 0 through 4 fan switch was melted.

He had me get a whole heater control head figuring it would have the connector plugged in and the wires cut back to work with.

The control head came without the connector.

Does anybody know where I can get a replacement connector?

Car is a 93' Sentra E 4 door with air. VIN starts with JN1

Looking from the back there is 6 spade terminals in this order:

Small
Big
Big
Small
Small
Big

Any help would be appreciated.

Joe

Your best bet for the connector is a automotive salvage yard.
I would try to find what caused the excessive load that melted the plug before replacing it, because the fuse should have blown first. If the wrong AMP fuse is in place then replace it with the proper one. If something in the blower fan circuit is shorting out and pulling an excessive load you have the potential for an electrical fire. I would have the mechanic re-check the blower, and the resister coils that provide the lower fan speeds to see if there is a short.
