90 Sentra Ignition won't crank
The key swiveled in the ignition and all I noticed was a very slight dimming of the dashboard lights and a single slight "click!" noise from under the hood.
I do not think the problem is a dead battery. Nothing appears to have been left on that would account for a lack of juice. moreover, after the car would not start, I turned on the headlights to check the battery power and they were still burning bright white. All accessories work.
Please, please advise. Car has been bulletproof reliable up until now. Always started up instantly.
Outside temps have been heating up lately, if that means anything. It hit 80 degrees today after a long winter.
Is it the starter? Is this how a starter goes? pfft? just like that?
Sorry if this is the same post I added to my old post from last year but I realize the title of the older post would be misleading to someone.
Thank you all.
