Valve Clearance

Just adjusted the very noisy valves according to the engine spec which is 0.22mm (cold) but only slight improvement on the noise level.

Not satisfy, so redo all the adjustment to 0.15mm clearance gap which below the factory spec. Now it's quiet on startup and only makes noise when engine is warm.

It is OK for me to use the 0.15mm setting in the long run or it is too tight for the engine?

wow, yeah I remember my e16i was a pretty noisey engine. Solid lifters are like that. Just make sure it's in spec and thats the best you can do!

I think my car would lose against a lawn-mower
