Thumbs up Another Madaline Thread....(updated)

From now on, all the updates on my car will be in this thread, so please check it often!

ok, today was dissapointing at best. I Changed the spark plugs and she started after about 5-10 seconds of cranking, but she fouled the plugs with gas in about 5 minutes! I tried moving the distributor around to play with the timing, i also fooled around with the TPS, to no avail. When she ran she was sucking alot of air, i mean i could hear it, but there are no vaccuum lines off.

Is it possible that i am dealing with a faulty injector? Could the air sound i am hearing just be the injector spraying way too much gas? In the throttle body area i am hearing either a Spraying sound, or a sucking sound. (i know, a broke down car always sucks right? )

The ECU still checks out at a code 55, Normal.

Post when you get that new injector in. Shouldn't be much work.

Yes, ive had it out a few times, no big deal, you just use a big socket to seat the rubber ring and then its all done.

Yes!!! I Put it in and I Had to give her a jump start from all of the engine cranking she did, and When she Started, she ran rough for about a minute, i didnt gun the engine until it was at Temp, which was killing me because Of coarse I wanted to see if it worked, but i decided to just let her get her stuff together, and when i did she just revved up and it was like heaven...I havent been this happy in quite some time! I want to thank everyone that put in thier thoughts to help me figure it out, and i promise this will be the last Madaline thread, for a few days anyway....

WOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a side note, I am leaning towards this Explaination of what happened: When the ECU shorted out, the fuel pump was forcing gas thru the injector while the ECU wasnt Pulsing the injector open and closed, so im thinking all this force on the injector may have caused the injector to go bad (possibly it blew a seal or somthing??)
