I recently added transmission oil to my 89 nissan sentra, because i was struggling to part the car in gear. Now that i have done this, the only way the car shifts smoothly is for me to push the clutch to the floor. It feels like i have to push the clutch harder and harder each time to shift. When I first start the car everything is fine, but after about 5 minutes or so, that is when i have to push the clutch against the floor to shift. I would guess something is wrong with the clutch (and hope), not the transmission?

have you checked/adjusted the clutch cable for proper play ? possible you might have too much slack in the cable. Is the cable hard to push ? It might be getting ready to break. That happened to me. you don't seem to notice how hard the clutch is to push until you replace the cable and it moves like glass again.
