Well here are the symptoms:
-idles rough
-Has a miss when it idles
-stalls out when gas I press on the gas and release
-If it is left idling it won't stall
I've done a basic tune-up
-pcv valve
-air filter
-spark plugs
-ignition wires
-rotor
-distributor cap
Any suggestion on what it may be...because I'm lost...
I think I am experiencing the same problems w/ my 85 pulsar. all my vac lines have been checked and are 100% functional. I still experience this problem with me car. Mine is the E16 w/ 5 speed Tranny.
Good luck to any and everybody who can solve this.
Replace all the vaccum lines for the E-series. I ran into this problem especially in cold
weather before I replaced the damn thing with a Weber.
And make sure the choke is spot on after a extreme cleaning. Use some air/fuel ratio tester.
hese carbs can be really damn anal when the choke gets aged.
Worst case is that you have a intake manifold leak that causes the problems when you do the same things.
