Got some questions about drifting

Basicly how do you make a drift?
Were can you learn how to drift at around the S.F. Bay Area?
Were can you go drift racing at?
What kind of modifications do you need to drift?
How does it feel to drift?

first: just find yourself a corner without cars around
second: look for auto-x events should be held in like every major city usually at like large arenas like in the parking lots
third: you dont need any to a 240 if you are just messing around but if you want more then just the usual suspension upgrades as well as brakes tires and yeah
fourth: find yourself a corner and try for yourself and watch out for the damn mailboxes and dont kill anyone

Then maybe you should spin some Gran Turismo 3 in your Playstation and get a Silvia or AE86 to drift. Seriously. The physics engine is more detailed than you think. You won't learn how to drift from a video game of course - but if you kinda pay attention to your analog joysticks while you're drifting, you can get some idea of the sequence of control inputs. With patience you can learn a lot about timing, weight shift, suspension tuning, and every drift technique in the book... The Trueno is the best car in the game by the way, nothing else can drift like it lol.

aight, u guys wanna see how its realy like from inside a drifting car, go to this website- www.neo-force.net/movie and scroll down the page and click on page 2. and when u r on page 2 scroll down to the bottom and there u will see an incar video of a car drifting. YO Project X look how they gotta control the clutch, gas, brake, shifting and steering all at the same time. I tried drifting last summer, trust me its hard I spun out like 4 outa 7 times. not bad for a rookie ehh...

I second the gaming expirience. U need to get a feel for dynamics and technique. The driving simulation is superb in gt3. in reality u can drift any car, its about feeling ur cars dynamics and how it reacts to predict where it will react. How does it feel? BEAUTIFUL. Just keep your momentum once you get going.

i got started in wet parking lots. the moved on to the streets. the wet parking lot is easy to learn in, make sure no one is around. and don't kill anyone. it's hella fun once you can do it without spinning out.
