Why not FR cars too?

Why isn't there a discussion for Front-Rear cars in here? i mean FF cars can only drift by definition, but can't maintain a drift beyond the momentum they entered the corner with. so i don't count that. and AWD is just nuts. Look at all those times rhys millen tried to drift in one of his mitsus... AWD drifting is almost teh same as FF drifting, the front wheels are pulling the car. In FF you lock up the rear and that's it. in AWD you end up doing the same thing but this time the rear wheels get to spin.
Seriously, name a good car at teh D1 (or anything like it) that is FF or AWD.
they are all FR. because that's what makes drifting look good.

-feel free to rip this apart.

Is this about FR cars or is this just a spot for you to reply to the stickies?

Awd drifts are completely different from FF. Shows how much you know. With an AWD car such as the evo or sti, all 4 wheels are constaly pulling or pushing the car through the turn. not to mention the ammount of power to each wheel is always changing. so to counter-act AWD, you have to enter the turn at a higher speed, turn in early and then hope to god you can steer correctly.

by definition a drift is slide where control is maintained with the front wheels and traction is completely gone from the rear wheels, so you see all four wheels can't be pulling or pushing the car through. i understand AWD drifts aren't the exact same, but it's similar. AWD drives like front wheel drive under most circumstances until the system decides it needs to give power to the rear wheels. 4WD and AWD are different systems... 4 wheel drive has all the wheels driving under most circumstances. and i've drifted and slide AWD. trust me i know how it goes. and you don't really need to enter a corner at any crazy speed to drift, you just need great control of your vehicle. you just use momentum to your advantage.

read the other threads and post in those if you feel the need. no point in starting the arguements over yet again in another thread.
