GREAT online bank

Just thought I would share this with you all... Seeing everyone here wants to make some money some day in there life.. A buddy of mine sent me to this site. He is really smart when it comes to money and does it for a liveing along with stocks . So check this site out when you get a chance. Right now there is a 4.25% return on your account if you set one up. Last month it was 4.0%. Really damn good deal. CNN rated it #1.

I'm quite the noob when it comes to this kind of stuff.

I have a savings account setup w/ my bank that has an itnerest rate of .2%, and I have about $1100 in there currently.

Looking at this account, having a 4.5% interest rate, I'm wondering what's so different about this account that allows them to have such a larger %.

How exactly does the interest work anyways? Do they take 4.5% of your balance every month and add it to your account?

My PayPal is set up as a investment account. 4.53% and I have a debit card, so I have access to it anytime, along with getting 1% cash back on all purchases.

Depends on what you are talking about specifically.

Emigrant has had the best rates available for quite some time. Here and there, ING or other banks will match or beat them, but only for small amounts of time.

I have a little money at ING Direct but most of my savings at www.HSBCDirect.com which used to be at 4.8% and they just dropped it to 4.5%

but 4.5% still makes HSBC the top APY right now
