Mmmm...Motor Mounts

Jarrod and Shawn came over Friday night and we installed some poly-filled motor mounts. The procedure isn't too bad in changing this out.

The difference between my stocks (w/75k miles) and these are night and day. The car totally feels more solid now. I also tried a dump clutch and wheel hop has greatly reduced. Vibration also isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I give this mod a .

Thanks Jarrod for his expertise and Shawn for his company.lol

poly is for wimps, you should've gone with solid aluminum mounts.

Motor mounts are waaayyyyy over rated. I just don't see a need for them. Just my thought's on the subject.

the dogbone mount on that beater nx i test drove wasn't bolted to anything, it was just sitting there. i guess motors don't even need mounts now.

How have all you guys been?

What happens in reverse? Engine jumps noticeably?

I think there are a little different than the inserts for the Specs. You actually have to have a press to push out the center on the old mount and press the new inserts in for the Maxima.

Here is a pic.
