... is getting a worse and worse rep. This time - sleeper aka robert had some work done to his car there. They stole his boost controller solenoid and replaced it with a female - female hose connector. They also undid and took hose clamps off his compressor and the fmic. Turns out he blew the piping apart when driving on the highway. He hit 1 bar on accident because guees what - no boost controller.
Seems the only one who has been treated courteously by these guys is Latinmax - looks to me like everyone else, including myself - gets fucked there.
Once again - I strongly vouch for Courtesy parts, but Courtesy service is one of the shittiest and shadiest around... we're still waiting on what the service dept is gonna do about the stolen parts.
I was impressed with how Robert kept his cool - the least I would have done would be to call the cops and file a report. If not that.................... BOB.
Yeah she refuses to acknowledge my existance now. Which is good.
Anywho that sucks about the service department. I laid into a Lute Riley service dude one time because I got charged for some ridiculous 32 point inspection when I just wanted a door lock motor replaced. I think a lot of spit got in his face. I was pissed. I don't let some pissant that makes 30k (no offense to the good people of this world that make that much) a year try to roll over me.

That sucks, If anything talk to the Steve the parts manager and see if he can help you out. They have no excuse for straight out ripping off someone's stuff.
And I also would file a police report.
Courtsey should be able to figure out who worked on his car and nail them.......in my opinion they should make this right and give him back his money for the service that he paid for.
Make sure you post here to let us know what happened. I may end up with a different opinion of Courtsey after this. (just in cast Courtsey is looking at the forums...today)

Well it seems that its escalated to Clint the head of the service dept now - I don't know that Steve can do anything. The guy that worked on his car is this old man that really would have no reason to take it - but the thing is that the car was at courtesy for more than one day while waiting on parts.... courtesy is backing up their staff so it looks like the only thing that may happen is that robert MAY get some recourse - but from how i was swindled there, probably not.
Being an ex-employee and a disgruntled customer of Trophy Nissan I'll try to be as impartial here as possible. If Courtesy is starting to lose their touch in the service department, that might leave Bankston. The reason I say this is because I've experienced the royal shafting by Trophy AND I WAS A MANAGER!!! Trophy is a great place to buy a car and Romeo and the wholesale department will always have me as an advocate. Even the collision department is okay with me. I wouldn't suggest getting an oil change at Trophy. Ironically it was an oil change that started my problems. And it's not all of the servicemen, but there are only two or three I would trust to change my lightbulb.
I hated leaving Jim under bad circumstances but like I said, if your car needs work....take it to Bankston or hire one of the service guys away from the dealer. Doing under the table work will get you shafted if it's a warranty issue, but I'd rather fight a warranty battle than shell out cash every week because the dealership is screwing their customers.
Sorry about your experience bro.

im not too sure of what to do right now, I want to talk to Clint in person(instead of over the phone) because i believe that its more professional that way but at the same time i want this resolved as quickly as possible. I fully plan on having a little meeting with the GM of Courtsey (as soon as he gets back from vaction tomorrow) to disscuss the extremely unprofessional sales staff, (that have thus far cost me $420 out of pocket), and we will get to talk about the thievery going on here. I dont know what will become of all of this but I will keep everyone updated.
Robert, if you continue to have problems, let me know. You KNOW I always enjoy a good argument. I'll go up there with you and say I'm your brother fresh out of jail and I'm quite pissed at their customer service. I have no problem getting a lawyer involved as well.
