Intercrew

well my friend has been working 80hour work weeks to save up for the DET swap into his S13
he is gonna have about 5gs at the end of the month
He is thinking of having Intercrew do it for him
since I really dont know shit about 240s or any of that
What do you guys think he should do?
He is brand new to the import world (former 5.0 Mustang enthusiast), so he needs some guidance.
-any suggestions welcomed

I wouldnt recommend them due to my personal experiences over there. They did my intake, drop kit, y-pipe, sway bars, and other crap. Just ask BlueBob about the quality. They were the cheapest but I got what I paid for.

I've never had personal experience with Intercrew but have only heard negative.

Does he have his suspension setup? What does he plan on doing with the car?

I would not go to Intercrew for any work, and I used to work sales there. That says something about their work. I wonder if Chris Jex still does swaps for people. I had a class w/ him at Richland, really cool guy. His 240 was in Import Tuner.

thanks for the feedback
so I'll give him the reports on Intercrew

then he's gonna ask me what his other options are
anyone know a good shop/individual that does swaps?

Ive thought of James V, but I dunno if he wants to undertake another project just yet. I still need to talk to him about it.

Just wanting you guys' opinions

I dunno if he's up for it, or if he can do it. But Steve H (BlueBOB refers to him as "the guy who's gone through my cars than women") worked at shop that did swaps (cartunes, I think) he might be able to do it...his milkshake comes to the yard, he can teach you, but he'll have to charge!

my friend can do it.. (if he's up to it)
he worked on mine, and used to work at boostfactor (before quitting when he realized he didn't want to work for the owner)

he also painted my car... jack of all trades

is this his dd? if not, he should definitely consider the learning experience of doing it himself, with the money saved, he could buy some suspension pieces with it
