gauging interest, har har

Anyhow Im thinking of ditching the pod and doing a creative relocating of my gauges to the empty space below my radio. Didnt know if anyone knows exactly what I will need to do it, Im assuming I need a piece of plastic with the holes cut in it that will fit snug ino the hole. Also my gauges like to fog on occasions, any solutions? Anyhow im outz

hey man
good to hear from you
hows things over in Beaumont, or wherever?

those dash mounted gauges look cool too, IMO
but the console is good too
I wouldnt think it would be too hard. Just some black plastic and maybe 2 screws. maybe some black mouting tape to go around the edges to make it look cleaner.
the hardest part i think would be running the wires.

I like the center gauges better because people can't see them. BUT, if it's something that's important (tach, or whatever) if you move it to the console it's going to be harder to see.

ok here is my evil plan. Im moving my oil pressure and volt meter to the center. I hope this week eliminate their fogging problem sigh. Next problem is i guess i will be drilling holes to fit the wires to them, blah. Next does anyone know what people use to cover the empty spaces over the guages? Some type of plastic I assume. Now you ask what about my mighty pillar and the all important vacuum gauge. I was thinking of a boost gauge but i decided against it. Im thinking of maybe a air fuel gauge and a oil temp from autometer or something. I doubt those fog. Thing is i dont wanna be ricey with lots of gauges. I just dont want to toss a 45 dollar pillar. I think it would look decent. At least the gauges provide some neat info. One day ill get my oil pressure one fixed with that adapter. anyhoo i would search for most of the questions but 56k pwns me. also a random update, me and my dad installed a milltek exhaust system on the mini. woot.
