dvd9 isn't xbox specific...most dvd movies are 9 gigs. and there's a handful of ps2/xbox that use it. it makes it a bitch to copy, because you have to break the game into parts, since buying a dvd9 burner just isn't very cost effective heh. they put rip kits and all that up pretty fast after games are released though to walk people through the process. for the normal 4.7g games it's cake...just have to do a 1:1 copy, and that's it, if you have a chipped console. after i hit 100 games though, it sort of gets old. i just go for the really good titles now.
and yes i would bet money that its DVD9.. concidering they cut shit from the previous game because they used 4.7, and GT4 is supposed to have LOTS more cars and tracks than GT3...
Picked it up yesterday and it's badass. The most realistic game yet. To many new and awesome things to start telling. All I can say is the Nurburgring is the shiitt!!
I don't know about y'all, but I love this game. The B-Spec mode is an interesting way to play the game. Right now, I'm loving the 350Z Limited Race Car. Nice piece of equipment. If you've got a good GT3 game saved, convert it over to GT4 to get a head start.
IT definitely came out Yesterday... I have a friend at GameStop in Tulsa that had to call the cops cause people were getting in fights over it since they had a limited number of copies and like 500 people showed up for it.
they had the shipment overnighted to the store from the vendor and stayed open late to get it out last night...
