FTSB -- Does it work?!

I was changing out my plugs the other day and I left my FSTB off on purpose for a little experiment. I wanted to see if that bar really bade a difference or not. And I'm wondering if you guys REALLY notice a difference or is it just phsycological....

Personally, I haven't noticed any significant steering differences between it being off and on. Maybe a *LITTLE* on a tight curve, but not enought to make a noticeable difference. But with the recent rain, I noticed a huge difference. Those front tires slide all over the place on the wet road. And the rear of my car is much more rigid (prolly due to the sway bar).

Opinions? Experiences? Please share.

The difference is much more noticeable with stiffer suspension and a thicker FSTB. My theory is that the soft, stock suspension soaks up so much of the body roll that there's not much left for body flex.

I love the Front Strut Bar, it makes a difference, you don't have to correct your steering on a long turn.

It made a difference on my car. Other drivers (some avid road racers) will attest to their effectiveness. I'm not going to comment on its effect on Maximas.

Anybody with a real G-monitoring device willing to help clarify this issue (the G-tech is crap)?

eh, on the maxima i'd honestly say it does some, but not an extremely noticeable amount at all...

funny thing is that a lot of maxima guys swear the RSB is a night and day difference and I'd personally disagree... didn't feel at all different to me

Yeah, the RSB is much more noticeable than a FSTB for a FWD car. I almost lost the rear end on the street with it set on the "track" setting.

Also, many Camrys and Solaras (with aftermarket suspensions) will notice one wheel off the ground when pulling diagonally up an incline.
