Look at the brake pads. If you have been workin up there make sure the backing plate didn't get bent and is rubbing the rotor.

Ok.. I narrowed the noise down some more while driving to work this morning..
It seems to be VERY loud and whiny noise when I go in REVERSE, and I am not using breaks at all..
When I go forward its more of a quiet rubbing metal noise kinda.. almost like a whistle.
But when I go in reverse its a lot louder. Again, it seems to be coming from left front wheel area..
I also think I heard a slight "knock" there a few times..
It's probably a brake wear indicator. It squeals so you know it's about time for your brakes to be replaced.
