let me give you a small example of how football is a religion in my household.

my mother called me early last week askin what I was doin sunday. I told her I had no clue. She said that she hadn't had a football party in a while and was in the mood to throw one, so she went out, bought quite a few things and we had about 15 people at the house chillin, eatin, and watchin da boys play.

I've always been a Cowboys fan as a lot of Dallas even during the crappy times. We just like to hate Jerry Jones a lot for some of the REALLY stupid things he does...

I am probably the biggest Cowboy fan in the group. I don't miss the games at all. I totally ignore the wife and sqids during the game. I visit cowboysplus.com and also read everything on dallascowboys.com. Every team in the leaque has gangstas or stupid people. When a guy has it all, most will abuse things thinking they are invincable. Some it is alchohol, drugs, etc. I personally am like Deion Sanders, "Fornication is my drug" LOL.

Cowboys are back, #1 offense #4 defense. this is the best we have been since the 90's

some of our picks were bad in the previous years, i think they finally got it down.

mistakes made: we got Ebezer Ekuban (sp) instead of randy moss

and we had a chance to get jeremy shockey but we chose roy williams (either way would be a win win)

i enjoyed watching the cowobys defense rape the cardinals in all aspects. the best hit was the roy williams and darren woodson hit on that Wide.

Stars this year, i don't think will win the Cup. Colorado is way too good this year, all they need is a goalie and its over. Kariya Selanie, Sakic, etc. will be too hard to stop

I'd still take Roy Williams over Shockey any day... Roy will be in the league making big hits for the next 10 years... Shockey will be selling used cars in 6 years...

Yeah that sandwich hit that Williams and Woodson put on Cards TE Freddie Jones was devastating.. He just kinda crumpled... and didn't catch another pass in the game...before that he had caught about 3 or 4...

Roy makes big hits but what I've seen, struggles with pass coverage. At this point, Shockey is the better player.

well shockey might be a better player... at tight end...

they play two differant positions, so u can't really compare. i think Roy was a wiser decision to get, cuz the cowboys offense is number 1 right now. so they don't need anohter offensive threat, but they could always use a safety that can lay down the lumber, since darren woodsen's career will be edning soon.

Jeremy shockey talks a lot of smack, which Michael Irvin did while he was playing for the boys, which is enough smack to keep us smack free for a couple more years

he also can't back up wut he says. ex Cowboys Giants game on monday night

There is always the value point. To me a defensive backfielder that lacks coverage skills is a liability, so unless Roy learns how to play coverage (what's his speed?) I would take Shockey over him in any situation.

Right now. I just don't like the teams they have played so far. The Giants win was a lucky one although not undeserving.

Shockey has 21 catches which is good, but only 1 TD

Williams got burned once all year... and he should have had inside help from the corner who fell on the play... ironically he was called for pass interference on Shockey in the end zone in the game against NYG, which was BS if you look at the tape...but hey it was in NY and it was for the lead..

one the other hand Williams has 19 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and an interception...not to mention at least a dozen broken up potential receptions...

It hard to compare a Offensive player and a defensive player,

Williams is by far the better athelte, come on. Shockey is a TE and now that the leugue knows him and have figured out his style and threat level he is much less productive... I'll still put money on it..He will be selling used cars in Jersey in 6 years....haha
