What? Women get special treatment all the time. Most of it comes from those other than their husbands. *cough* Chris *cough*.
So yes, women work long hours so we can have motorcycles, dirt bikes, tools...blah blah blah. When a woman is working, she takes up some of the slack so a man can have these things. He can pay for it himself. And vice versa. A woman then has her own income to buy what she wants...ie, shoes, clothes whatever.
I'm not in disagreement with you. But you're right, this could go on forever.
This is truly the roots of most marital relationships.

Umm no sweetie.... my husband wouldn't have shit if i didn't work lol and my husband would never have clean clothes....or food on the table...and the house would smell like rotten trash without me there to clean up after him....and i don't get special treatment from other men lol
j/k...you have a point. Women are still the "domestic rulers" when it comes to the chores and housework. Men are usually there to do the hard stuff like reaching high objects and opening stubborn jar lids.
It should be 50/50 with the bills and housework, but most of the time it's not. Ask my wife. I pay all the bills and buy everything, and she takes care of the house...hence the title, 'house-wife'. I'm wondering how it'll work now that she's started her new job.
