Three nights ago, I was chillin with some friends in Plano & a white 2003 Civic SI drove by reving. It was very decked out. So, needless to say, my friends kept egging me on to go after him. Finally, I gave in & chased him down to line up at the Intersection of Alma & Spring Creek facing North. We both had a very good launch & I was thinking I was about to get my a$$ handed to me on a silver platter. The first 3 gears we were perfectly side-by-side. 4th gear, I pulled 1 car on him & held there till I hit 5th & then started to walk away from him. The way things were going, I didn't hit 5th till 107mph. We were both shocked that I won that race. The guy was cool as hell though. We talked a bit after the race.
Here is what I remember he had:
-Body Kit
-Volk Rims
-cross-drilled brake upgrade
-Recaro seats
-Autometer tach w/shift light
-Mugen Header
-Mugen Intake
-Mugen Cat-back Exhaust
-$hit load of decals
-Tien Suspension
-there was more but I cannot remember
It was a very nice ride. From how well his car was handling around the turns till we got the light to line up, he would defintely beat the snot outta me in cornering, hehe.
For me though, that kill made me love my Spec-V all much more

I want Turbo badly though. My goal is to wax my friend's Evo-8 in a straight run. I know I won't be able to beat him in the cornering, but I'm tired of his smack talking, heh.

Yeah, but I want to go all Nismo period on my spec-v. Too many people out there mix & match stuff. Only a small few ever go with just one brand to see how it will turn out. Personally, I don't think I can go wrong with all Nismo My last project was a mix & match of brands, so I know that route already. Never like doing the same modding path as before.

If there were one brand for Maximas out there for every performace part then I'm sure you'd see a lot more people matching up parts. (Maxima owners that is)
*shrug*

oh yah...i think they have on one of the sentra boards or ebay for like $500 or so
It's not that I don't have the money for the Nismo Header, it's just that when I go turbo, it'll be changed out for a Turbo Manifold, so it would be a waste of money to dish out for a Nismo Header & then have to change it out again for the turbo manifold...<cringe>
