Front speaker size

What's the front speaker size for the 4th gen maixma? I gotta replace them, they are driving me crazy.

yeah, 6 3/4.... a lot of 6 1/2's will work though, the ones that do will say that they accomadate "oversized 6.5's"

oversized 6.5"...i found out the hardway. Stupid regular 6.5" was a pain to fit screw holes

So the front speaker size is the same as the rear one, oversized 6 1/2"?

that's how my 95 was, but I thought the rears were 5x7 or somethin different for the later years...

check www.crutchfield.com. they will tell you what speaker goes in any of the stock speaker holes.

The rear are definitely not 5x7. I replaced them last year, but I only vaguely remember that they were 6 1/2 or oversized 6 1/2. I remember that Gully had to help drill new holes for it to fit and soldering wires upsidedown is not a safe thing to do.

I laughed so hard when Ryan told me that. Crutchfield says you are oversized 6.5 for all four speakers.

Making a very clean solder takes a bit of practice. It's especially hard when you don't have the other tools besides the iron and the solder.

I bought my first set of speakers off of ebay. I was wondering if there was a cheaper way than that.
