what happened was that:
1. the mavs stopped playing the offense that was confusing the spurs (motion offense)
2. they overcompensated for their shots in the forth quarter thinking they were gonna get tired (if you see video of their missed shots you'll see that they missed most of the shots long)
3. didn't handle the ball well (turnovers are never good)
4. the 2-3, 3-2, 1-2-2 zone defense or whatever it was (pretty weird and confused the spurs) bit them in the a$$ in the fourth. when they collapsed on Tim, Kerr and Jackson were open and didn't hesitate to take the shots...
it was probably Stephen Jackson, more that Steve Kerr, that got the Spurs come back rolling...it was Steve Kerr that put the Mavs out of their misery...and it was Tim Duncan's dunk that sealed the deal...
but you can take this with a grain of salt since I'm a Spurs fan living dangerously in Dallas...(should have seen the looks I got today when I was wearing my Spurs t-shirt around town)...
it's all good...
GO SPURS GO!...
