Exclamation Selling Max's (2K1 SE Auto and 97 GXE 5-speed)

OK guys. Here it is. As many of you know, the wife is pregnant. Yes I'm aware that the maxima is an excellent family car. I'm not debating that. But, I've got a take home car for work now, and the 1997 Maxima has become more of a Yard ornament in some respects, so the wife and I have decided to change things up a little. As of right now, both of the Maximas in our family are for sale.

The first one is my wifes 2001 SE automatic in Sterling Mist. The odometer just turned 27K miles. It has cloth interior, no sunroof, tinted windows, and 18" Enkei RS6 wheels. The stereo will go with the vehicle at this point in time. It consists of an Eclipse 5441 FM/AM-CD headunit, Eclipse point source 5 1/4" coaxial speakers in all four doors, two JL 10W1's in an custom enclosed sealed box in the trunk, a JL Audio 250.1 subwoofer amp, and a 1 farad digital readout capacitor. The intake consists of a homemade midpipe that was tig welded, and a K&N cone filter, but I can replace it to stock if needed. This vehicle is equipped with the Panasonic FM Modulated Sirius satellite radio unit.

The second vehicle is my 1997 GXE 5-speed in white. Mileage on this car just turned 87K, but is virtually new. I've recently replaced the trnsmission C/V axles and seals on both sides, new Mobile 1 motor oil, and Royal Purple GL-4 gear oil in the transmission. The 18" Enkei DM-5s are less than a month old with outstanding tread on the 235/40-18 Nitto 555s. The car is dropped and rides on Dopzone springs with KYB AGX adjustable struts. The windows are tinted 20% in the rear and 35% in the front. Another custom intake is on this car as well as a Budget Y-Pipe. The dash trim is painted Silver and looks extremely good. There is a 2 gauge pod in the pillar with Autometer A/F Ration and Vac/Boost gauge. Only the vacuum side is functional at this time as I was planning on boosting the car in the near future. The stereo is a Clarion AM/FM CD headunit. OZ Audio component set makes up the front speakers, while a set of 6 1/2" Pioneer Coaxial sit in the rear deck. This vehicle is also equipped with the Panasonic FM Modulated Sirius satellite radio unit.

I am only hoping to get near my payoff for the 2K1. Kelley Blue Book shows this car to be at 16,485, and this is without any of the mods. As for the 1997, I would like to get 8,000 for it. I do have the stock springs, bumperlenses, y-pipe, and intakes for these vehicle, and they will come with the car(s). I will also pay for the remainder of my Sirius contract service when the vehicle(s) are purchased. Service is good through March of 04.

These two cars, if not already sold, will be able to be seen at the Houston 6/15/03 Nissan Meet at the Marqui Center. PM me or e-mail me with any questions, or you can contact me by phone at (936) 668-7342 or (936) 295-6462.

David Warner

BTW, we will be getting another Nissan, only this time 3.5 liter power and all wheel drive.

Yep. Murano. Drove one yesterday. One word describes it "Outstanding!" The Continuously Variable Transmission is kinda weird. A little hard to get used to at first, but definately a pleasure once you do. Just strange hitting the gas and the car maintaining a certain RPM all the way from stop to 70mph.

Oh yeah. And I'm in no hurry to sell the cars, so prices probably wont come down much for now. Now ask me again in 9 months, and I may be giving the cars away.
