got this email today check it out

Hey D,
This is Jerry with the 98 max and anniversary wheels. My parts manager got wind of courtesy offering DNE a discount and figured he would step in and do something. Our nissan dealer is also like courtesy offering the same aftermarket performance parts from stillen, jim wolf, place racing, and so on. However, my parts manager Rick Lewis, said he hates courtesy with a passion and is offering a discount off of any courtesy price on aftermarket nissan performance parts. Any DNE member can call North Texas Nissans parts dept. and ask for rick lewis for a price beat on courtesy. Dont forget guys with body kits being purchased can now have the opportunity to get components painted at North Texas Nissans brand new state of the art body shop. The guys there are the best ive seen, superior work and craftsmanship. Figured I would let you in on the info ahead of time. I will also be at the meet with more information with free hats and metroplex area atlas's. We have the brand new cold air intake system and full stillen catback installed and working quite well on the new 03 350z. Sounds awesome and runs better

see ya at the meet
Jerry

Cool! Sounds interesting. All these dealerships want to beat Courtesy price wise and customer base wise. This could be interesting.

Chris

P.S. I still want his rims....

It's really getting repetitive/ pointless when the trophy nissan guys bash courtesy constantly. I've worked with Courtesy Nissan nearly 5 years now... and was treated like a King everytime i went there... It's one thing for business competition... but some of the things that i've heard aren't based on how things really are...

I'm all up for Trophy's remodeling and all... I honestly hope you can reverse my opinion on trophy.... because the ridicule I received from you guys really put a dent in how i perceived you guys.

Like Jayson mentioned... they can't change the past, only the future...

I don't know who answers the emails, but if you call or visit Courtesy Parts and mention the DNE discount, you won't have a single problem.

tekmode called them earlier this week to ask about Stillen parts and Courtesy claimed that they could not discount aftermarket parts, only Nissan parts. Jerry has a been a long member of the DNE and has mentioned getting a discount on aftermarket (ie Stillen) parts.

Jerry is a great guy and a super mechanic!
I make it a point to ask for him when I
take my 3.5 in for service as I live in Denton.

I've had a run in (or two ) with Rick
Lewis on parts in the past so I can't
really vouch for him.

But on the whole, North TX Nissan is
pretty good.

Talking

yeah....that's funny. Sorry I've been away guys. I've been working on some things. Darrick, I've got my guy working for Marcus...........Anyway back to this whole Courtesy v North Texas thing. The one thing that I don't think Courtesy OR North Texas has is a Wholesale Internet Parts Manager who has also just been named a moderator on NICO and is going to 100% beat or meet their prices and who is also informing you that haven't read the posts on NICO that I got a memo a few days ago stating that NISMO hits the shelves at the beginning of the next quarter. But most importantly, I rock, they don't.

Brandon and I will see you guys at Tigerbull's. We're gonna bring something a little different. Have I told you about the elite package?

Been watchin this for a while so I'll throw my .02 in. I've been messin with nissans sense around 1980 or so, so I've delt with every nissan dealer around Dallas and alot of the country for that matter. There only 2 that I do busniss with. Courtesy and Mossy in Cali. Why? Because these guys have been around from the begining and supported all the clubs and forums. I know both of them have gone above and beyond what they had to do to help me out many times. Hell the guy's at Courtesy even stayed late on x-mas eve once to see I got the stuff I needed. I get great service and have made some good friends over the years. I'm glad to see some of the other guy's tryin to step up thereprograms. But untill they do I'm gonna stick with the ones that brought me. They have alot of catching up to do. IMHO.

and hey, that's great. Loyalty should swing both ways. I'm new to these parts....no pun intended....and I talk a lot of smack sometimes. The bottom line for me is putting a smile on people's faces. I really hope to see more of you guys and I won't down anybody else to do that. There is a lot of competition that goes on in the car business and that's something that is broadcasted. What's not widely known is that there is also a lot of comraderie. A good friend of mine works at Bankston and I've sent more than a few customers to Mohammed Ali at Courtesy...no relation. So it's not that there is any ill feelings involved, we all have to strive to be the best. That's all.

Retort?
