I actually didnt have a good number for him, but I got in touch. Sadly, I am stuck without a/c. Looks like im heading down to my work office in the morning to chill there. I have zero desire to be here during the day.

Good luck trying to get him to do anything in a timely fashion. Hope you got it fixed. If not I can find you someone.
Just with cheap-asses who expect shit for free. Hence why I wouldnt do the garage in your house.
Heh....my "cheap ass" PAID SOME one a good amount of money to do it. It coulda been you! All you had to do was give me a quote, which you refused to do. And the 20+ people I COULD have referred out to you for PAYing jobs (in the last couple months alone) went to someone else because the first 2 I referred to you over the years got ignored. You ignored my calls. 3 strikes, you're out! I'll gladly send business to someone who actually WANTS it and will respond. I'm not referring anyone to someone that won't answer the phone and won't call back.
You surely didn't have to do my gig. You SHOULD have called me and TOLD me if you didn't want it or couldn't handle it, rather then ignore, like you've done to everyone I've refferred to you, as well as have the people on this forum, at some point or another. I built out a data center at my current office which you could have had a piece of (BIG HVAC job.)
That being said, I do appreciate you fixing the unit in the last house, and haven't forgotten, which is why I was trying to get you involved on the last project. You chose to blow me off (AGAIN), and I chose to find someone else. End of story.
So no, I won't be referring anyone. And we can agree to disagree.
Yeah ok, you "tried to send me all this business".
I never got any referrals from you. I looked at your new house, and then you were kind enough to give me a ride in your precious C5 to your buddies house to turn a switch back on. THAT WAS IT. No one else called.
I gave you a verbal quote, which I thought was very fair, that you didnt like. I didnt feel the need to give you a written quote as you already had the equipment and wanted it done on the side.
Point being... Youre goddamned right I blew you off. I wasnt going to spend my time driving to and from your house, work around your schedule to do it, and get paid shit. I wasnt going to stress myself over doing something the way YOU wanted and wouldve been more of a hassle.
Personally I could give a shit about any referrals from you. I have enough business to keep me busy.
And I'll agree to disagree all day.
BTW, nice job sticking your nose in business that wasnt yours. If this is your way of starting a pissing contest of "who can be the bigger asshole", then youve got some tough competition.

If you ever returned a phone call or responded to voicemails you might realize you had business waiting on you. Ignoring everyone that calls or that you feel like avoiding doesn't get you anywhere now does it? Easy out to blame me for your lazyness. I don't like getting calls back from referrals that say "I left a message but he hasn't called me back. How long do you think it will take?" And then days pass..... Since then, I refer to people that actually respond.
You must be smoking some good sh!t, cause you never gave me a quote. You were supposed to research pricing on necessary parts and get back to me, which you never did. I left you voicemail, text, and I even had Chris try to find you, but I guess you were hiding from everyone that week or something. I always rather give to people that I know than some company trying to make a quick buck. So instead, I gave to another guy who likes to make cash on the side. Point the finger all you want. I still got my sh!t done. But, I guess you don't need the work or the money, so as expected, you don't care. Since your business practice is apparently based on selfishness rather than customer service, I surely wouldn't recommend you regardless.
The 'point being' is still that you are a flake; and everyone's damn lucky if you ever respond to anything. I'm not the only one. This ain't the first, nor will it be the last, I'm sure. The fact no one else will mention it to you don't scare me. I could care less who the "biggest asshole" is. I see that's all you're concerned with, because, as usual, you do nothing wrong. Deny deny deny!
He needed help, and since odds were that you weren't going to respond as usual, I offered my connections. Business that wasn't mine? Oh that's right, you're not bitter, because you do nothing wrong. Guess I forgot. My bad.
