Dallas/Ft Worth DNE Meet 5/9/2009

Greetings Nissan Enthusiasts,

First of all, thanks to everyone that came out to the April meet! What a great meet with a great turnout. Old faces, new faces, and everything in between. Here's to many many more.

So, for this month, we're going to enjoy the outdoors! We're going to the lake!

The meet time will be much earlier than our usual meets. We will meet up at the Bone Daddy's spot (Spring Valley & 75) at 1pm. We will hang there for an hour and leave at 2pm sharp for a little cruise. We will have a few groups cruising to the lake spot. One will hang back and take there time, another will be in charge of stopping off and picking up some food, and the other group.... well, let's just say they may arrive earlier than most.

The cruise will end at Lake Ray Hubbard. For the members that have been around a while, we're headed to the same spot. There will be DNE staff members leading these cruise groups to ensure everyone gets to the right spot.

Thanks to Jeff (aka MrEous aka Jeff) we'll have a grill to use and we'll be accepting small monetary donations (like $5) to buy the food for the cookout. Or, feel free to bring any food and/or supplies you may already have or want to bring. We'll have to take a quick inventory at the Bone Daddy's spot.

Also, just a note, there will be some post meet festivities to celebrate the birthday of our dear President Darrick.

So, let us know if you can make it and we'll add you to the list! Also, check out our Facebook group to see the DNE calendar for this and the remaining meets this year.

hmmmm sounds like this will be fun. I have class on Saturday but since im done with my house project ill probably cut out a little early to go! Ill let you guys know next week if im going for sure.

We'll be going out to Edgefest unfortunately.

Like I said though, you can use the grill and I'll give you charcoal & fluid too.

ok, I'm making it this time, I swear, from FEB. until now has been a minute... count me in for sure! I've already cleared it w/ EVERYBODY

and I plan on re-finishing my headlight housings, they originally had that chrome tape (junk and faded) and i'mma just black em' out. I'll have it lookin' spiffy for those photo ops
