Interior issue

Anybody have any issues with a nissans interior and tried to get it warrantied? My dad's altima se-r leather is wearing really bad and the beaumont dealership is refusing to cover it under "normal wear" which is crappy. Any ideas? He was going to contact courtesy next since he bought it there

I had a similar issue when I had my Miata. The leather despite being treated every 2 weeks was cracking at 1 year. I talked to a factory rep and his only comment was mine was better than most he looks at. My G35's leater at 2 years looked better than the Miata at 1. My Carrera's leather at 6 years looked better than the G35 at 1 year. It doesn't have a single crack or any fading. Bottom line is the cheaper the car, the cheaper the leather. I will never buy a car under $35K with leather again.

Does the SE-R have better leather than a 2.5l with leather?

My '06 SE-R had nicer leather than my buddies SL. The real problem I had was the stitching was crappy on the embroidered SE-R logo in the seat back.
