now i know it wasnt the fastest car in the world, only running mid 14s. Im sorry it didnt run 9s. i know some people judge a cars performance by its 1/4 miles time alone.
it wasnt rear wheel drive, omg no drift
but the fun factor was nuts. my car even with the turbo couldnt hold a candle to the mini. the handling was superior, braking superior even after a nx2000 brake upgrade, looks superior, and just down right cooler. Personally id be glad to put money on a experienced driver in a cooper s autocrossing any nissan in our club.
the new car :drum roll:
altima se-r 6 speed
a hott car none the less. personally i have no experience but look forward to driving it in the future.
even with this addition i shall miss the mighty MINI. who knows maybe when i blow up in the business world i shall buy a mini. thats a while off though

this altima was msrp at 29k. hell if you cant see paying 30k for a altima you should go see how much they want for evos now. they wanted 36k for the MR

That's why you ask for an rs model . Those are msrped at around 29k last time I checked...But the se-r looks very nice. And as fast as the evo is...the new se-r altimas have a nice growl to em...

Altima SE-R has 265hp, leather (loaded), and it will run 14.1-14.2 stock....this will run you about $30k
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR has 286 hp, cloth seats, and it will run 13.5-13.6 stock.....these START at $36,299.
I know if I put over $6k into my SE-R it will blow the f'in doors off of a stock Lancer Evo, but thats not why I bought it. I just like the car and was confident that I was getting my money's worth.
there is no question for a practical person, the altima se-r is a better car.
if all you do is race or dont care about comfort, you get the evo or the sti.
this is why i chose the is350 vs a sti.
sure an sti may be a bit faster, but quite honestly i dont want a cloth interior w/o any luxury.
at the end of the day nissan > mitsubishi and lexus > subaru
