Buying another pc, need opinion

I normally build my own pc's, but I don't know that I could do it for much cheaper, and it be worth it with dell's in home warrenty service as well.

Oh and I need opinions on dell's 20 inch widescreen lcd vs. non widescreen.

dont get widescreen lcd unless ur not planning on playing games

978 was the price shipped.

Also, the widescreen lcd is MUCH better for gaming, the non widescreen 20 inch has a better max resolution, but the refresh rate is so much better for gaming, which is more important. Oh, and the widescreen is much cheaper as well and is sexy.

check response time for LCDs, it must be less than 12.5ms. Also, LCDs run best at certain native resolutions, anything else and it's not as clear.

Well, I passed on the dell deal, I'm going to end up paying a little more and getting a totally badass system.

Dual GeForce 7800 GTX DDR3 (SLI)
Athlon XP 3200 dual core
300gb Hitachi 10,000 rpm hd + my old 80 gig hd
2gb PC3200 ram
600 watt psu
16x dvd burner
I currently have two 17 inch lcd's, but I may sell one of them and put that money towards either a 19 or 20 inch lcd.

Either way the system is much more gaming oriented.

You're right, I assumed that with SLI that i'd need it, but power actually calculates into the 380 watt power area. Thing is I can't find a psu <500 watts that supports sli
