so you want pictures of the outside area and inside area?
Not at all, you can just go to those places check out the area make sure it'll be safe,... go inside and make sure it's clean... just to make sure it's an acceptable location for us and our cars.
Trohpy called late last week and said they couldn't get town east mall's lot for the event, so I had Loren make a few calls. today we secured Breckinridge Park, which is in Plano area I believe. We have two pavilions and two parking lots reserved for us- including trees and SHADE!!!
As much as this sucks to be changing event sites at the last minute, this site is about 1,000,000,000,000 better than a large asphalt parking lot with zilch for shade!! http://www.cor.net/Parks/Facilities/...ridgePark.html
That said (and you haven't killed me yet!) I think it's in our best interest to find a hotel closer to the park. Here's what Loren had to say about the subject:
Quote:
For hotels, there is the Econo Lodge, which is very new, just off central expy in Richardson. There is also a Ramada and a La Quinta in Plano that aren't too far away. There are other hotels that are in closer proximity to Courtesy. The Richardson Hotel is a nice alternative if you are looking for something more upscale.
I would recommend staying away from Courtesy simply due to the relationship between the two dealers, but it may be worth looking into the other ones in the area.
well i live in plano and work in plano so nearby hotels you want anything im really really close by.
LaQuinta Inn in plano ( off plano parkway ) is really really nice one of the nicer LaQuinta in plano.. dont go to the one off 75 cus that one really sucks.
Ramada is nearby ill see if i cant cruise by there tonight after work and take a peek.
Breckenridge park is right down the road. I used to go jogging there. Very nice park. Clean, just beautiful. And its in Richardson.
Rathi, not that LaQuinta, that one definitely sucks. The one off 75 in Plano isnt that great either(my truck got broken in to there). Ramada is cool and there are a couple more around here too around the old Nortel Corridor.
The only problem with Breckinridge Park is that its not right off the highway, so be VERY explicit with the directions. We can post up "MAXUS THIS WAY" signs if need be.
Sounds alot better than last year, it should be a lot of fun.
