Thats actually the car I'm thinking about getting. Next year they are going to have a 4-door version and with the tiptronic transmission having a rev control feature added, that bitch is going to be awesome!

I absolutely hate the front girll though. That goes for the Passat and Jetta too. It's a powerful engine, but weighs 3300lbs. It's nothing that will have me rushing from my 240SX anytime soon.

You nailed it, my thoughts exactly. WTF, the sporty 4-cylinder golf now weighs 3300 lbs? I remember when 2.0L 16-valve golfs were 2400 lbs. This compact hatchback weighs almost 300 lbs more than my full size Maxima. What is even worse is that it has a worse power to weight ratio than the car it replaced.

The new Jettas are real nice. My friend has one and it is a diessel. The interior is amazing.
