primer hows it last as a paint?

okay so my cars all sanded down and now im short of money...long story anyways i was thinking about having the guy spray it with primer and leaving that thier for like a motnh or so, that way i can save up money for the real paint. im wondering hows primer hold up to rain, sun, dirt etc etc will it be alright after a month of daily driving? i understand it may need some touch ups like scratches chips but would it be ruined?

It doesn't, doesn't, doesn't etc. You can do it, but you'll have to sand it back and spray it again, the primer will absorb water, and road oils, and has no UV protection, etc. If you want, you could throw a coat of matte clear on it, and it'll still have the same look, but it'll be protected.
