Tires And Rims Questions 97 Sentra

I have a 1997 Nissan Sentra. I would like to know what size would be the biggest rim that my car would be able to handle? Right now I have 15 on my char with 195 tires. But the car looks way high still. What could i do? Buy bigger rims? Drop the car? And if the answer is drop the car then what would i have to buy? Any webpages would be apresiated

thanks
Hiro

15" wheels...u should upgrade to at least 16" and then get a full coilover setup and drop the car to ur specification needs

this webpage comes to mind for ur needs.........pretty informative

As large as 19" has been done, and I'm sure that with the right offset, tire size, and some fat fender flares, as large as 20" could fit on a B14.

The thread that AJ posted is very good, definitely check that out before you decide on lowering options, but I can personally say that Tein Basics are a great setup but a bit pricey (around $750). And either a 16" or 17" rim would be perfect, I have 17's (see sign) so you can get an idea of what they looks like with about a 2" drop all around. And most importantly search, endless amounts of knowledge lurk all throughout this thread (except for maybe the OT section ). Oh, and what color is your car? Don't forget you need to decide on color & style too!
