Hey everybody,

I work for a tier 1 automotive supplier out of the Detroit area.
We manufacture body parts for cars, both OEM and aftermarket. Sorry I am not allowed to tell you the name of the company, I am sworn to secrecy.

Anyway, in the near future I would like to conduct some surveys/polls and gather info from the site members here, on a variety of topics....all body related, in the appropriate section (which appears to be here).
I hope that is permissible, and something folks are interested in?

I would imagine they are working on introducing more nissan products into there lineup which would mean more choices for us to choose from which would mean better prices and more competition... I would like more choices for my car and as I said earlier I am willing to help, just dont try selling me anything yet.

Yep, you are correct Dry. All the products will be offered for sale by other companies, but we're responsible for every other step before the sale. It's a tough task but we love it.

First set of surveys I'm planning has to do with primary attachment methods (and mods needed to fit the parts--tape vs drill vs drill and slot), it was to be dealership auto body techs only, but I suggested to my boss that we also include independant bodyshops, and also grassroots hobbiests working at home--we went for the idea--and that's where the board comes in.

I'll be preparing it over the next week or two, and will include pics/instruction sheet/description so everyone can understand what it's about. You tell me what you like or dislike about each attachment method, I add it to my survey report and give it to my boss.

The desired result of the upcoming survey is a better product that is easier to install.

We're taking note of everyone's view of the pros and cons of each attachment methods and looking for ways to improve.

My one question: does this board accept attachments for pictures? I found some info on it in the FAQ, but don't see a button to click on.

No further replies and no help w/attachments, so I have canned the idea of using this board for the survey. I will stop back by if I have any other items of interest or Nissan products.
