Lower fenders

i was just daydreaming and thought that if someone were to make fenders that extended lower than stock, we could get rid of the fender gap without having to drop the car. i duno just an idea.

mike ( scochin200sx ) had the same idea but he decided not to go with it because if some idiot lower his/her car too low and it fucks up the fender then they start bitching etc.

well, if that were to happen, i mean if they were to make them, and later on you, or other people that got them decided to lower their car, can you imaging the bitching on here? thas just from my point of view though. but, it would def. be something different, and you would most likely look awkward, since it would gett rid of the fender gap, but the front and ass-end are still up there. would prolly end up working out a kit for it, other than getting a good spring/strut combo;coilovers...........but again, just my thoughts....

i think if you buy something then you should know what your getting into. if your gonna lower the car then get regular ones. the back isnt that high and i think it would look good with a kit without having to worry about bottoming wherever you drive.

heres what ya do, go to like a supermarket, or somewhere, and see if you can get a bunch of cardboard. cut the cardboard to the shape you want of the fenders, and spray paint em the closest you can to match your cars color. then tape em in place to the inside of the wheel wells so the tape doesnt show...........take pics and post em.............or, if ya like it, find either a metal fabrication shop to extent your fenders using steel, or have a body shop make ya some from 'glass.......if ya dont like the way it looks, eh, so yah kiled a few hours and some cardboard........either way, post pics

yeah he said no. he doesnt want to risk ppl lowering their car too much and sending it back. i would just tell them that all sales are final. and ppl should have enough common sense to not ruin it but i guess theres idiots everywhere. too bad i really wanted to save a lotta money by just doing that. i thought it would be perfect because you have stock ride comfort and no fender gap. oh well
