Foggy Trim

while i was waxing my car today, i got some wax on many of the trim pieces (along the windows.... the black plastic) when i tried to wipe it off, it left kind of a cloudy faded color. any ideas on how to get this to look black and shiney again? (i tried a little armor all, but it didnt help much)

im thinking maybe its been like this and i never noticed (faded from the sun)

i guess i wouldnt mind if i cant clear it up, but it would be nice to have it looking a clean as possible.

thanks in advance,
-kevin

go to autozone or advanced or whatever auto parts store you can go to that has a decent size cleaner products selection , pick up a bottle of blue magic plastic and plexiglass cleaner , use that on ur plastic that stuff works wonders

Wait now that i re-read the post I was left wondering. you were waxing the inside or outside? I know i might sound like an idiot, but where did you get plastic trim outside? Try some Son of a Gun cleaner, that works for interiors, and if its the exterior use Rottdog's reccomendation.

I got the wax on the plastic door handles and armor-all wipes worked miracles on it.
