I have el cheapo pop boys wheels...
(I traded 4 stock steelies with BALD tires for these 4 with almost new tires.. a friend was trading his car in, and the wheels didnt matter... )

BUT... they are blue. And my cars red. He painted them with spray paint... so what's the best way to get it off?? I have a heat gun.. but will it damage the wheel or tire? I need my car almost everyday, so taking the tires off, then getting the paint off, then sending off for powdercoating ... takes time.

Recommendations?

you should be able to just super clean the wheels and paint two coats of spray paint on them. on my last car i did this and it worked just fine. if the wheels come painted (from the manufuacturer) then take some sand paper to them to roughin' it up enough to hold paint.

Trust me they work wonders on prepping stuff to paint.
