RV mirror w/ maplights, compass, thermometer

Not that there's anything wrong with my rearview, I just think it's cool to have to have the digital compass and little maplights underneath. So I plan on ripping out the perfectly good stocker and reoplacing it with one that has lights, a compass, and maybe a thermometer. I'm going to the junkyard next weekend and I'd like to get a RV mirror with the above features. I figure the wiring will be a bitch, but I really don't care, i'm pretty handy with a soldering iron. I don't care what make/model it comes out of, just so long as it has the lights. The lights are my primary concern, seconday is the digital compass, and I really don't care if it has a temp display, that would just be a bonus. Any Ideas on cars I should check/raid at the junkyard ??? I'm not going to have a lot of time when I'm there so I need to be able to ID a car, run up and yank out the mirror, clip the wires, and be on my way. Paying $250 for an aftermarket unit is NOT an option.

Thanks

I think some mirrors actully have batteries in them. Wiring wouldn't be too hard, just wire the lights up to your dome light. Really shouldn't be more then just a power & ground as far as the compuss goes.

I got one from a late model F body.
Just one with maplights, simple 2 wire job. I used the ground and hooked the hot to the ignition fuse (so I don't accidentally leave it on and kill the battery). There was a 3rd wire, one could probably hook to the keyless entry and have it come on when unlocking the car.
